We were the worst kind of buyers. Zero knowledge of the Calgary area, a house to sell first on the other side of the country that was not moving, very specific, narrow and hard to find criteria for what we wanted - which evolved further during our search, a huge favourites list that probably made no sense, a 5 day house hunting trip in which we needed to cram dozens of viewings and see the whole city - with two very small children in tow... honestly she should have run far far away. But she was great. Fantastic. Endless patience, professionalism, humor, knowledge, efficiency and organization...little extras like always having water and snacks in her car and helping with the kids...quick to respond and obviously very experienced in every step of the process... honestly I can't think of a single complaint we had and we like to complain... and this ramble doesn't even capture all the things she did for us. Rob was recommended to me by a colleague of his that i had dealt with on another out of town real estate transaction. I was assured that Rob would work hard for me and that the sale of my house would go as well as it possibly could. Upon reaching out to Rob, he took on my cause immediately. He showed up prepared and had comparables to me within 24 hours. The presentation he had prepared was well researched, educational and most importantly, relevant. Conversely the competitor of Rob's that i also reached out to, although better looking and nicer legs than Rob, was not well prepared, did not follow up and was kind of winging her way through it. The price that i got for the house was acceptable but considering he had the deal done in under 48 hours made a little bit of compromise wealth worth it. In addition, considering the current economic landscape Rob did very well to get me the price that he did. In the end i was very happy that i took the recommendation of bringing Rob in.
